When we go out to eat, matthew usually gets a burger. The bigger and juicer the better. When I saw this sign I thought of him. He especially likes Wendy's Baconator.

Last week on the way to kentucky for Jason's graduation we stopped at Niagra falls. It was so AWSOME. Even though its just water falling off a cliff, the size and amount of water is astounding. As you walk around the top of the gorge everywhere you look you see rainbows.

Here are some cool vidios.
Matthew and mommy went on the maid of the mist while I watched from the observation platform. From the platform they looked kinda funny.
This sign was posted on the rails of the platform.
I wondered what happened if the object was a person, or a flower or feather?
Here we are, having lots of fun.
Matthew, King of the rock in his blue frock.
Last Saturday we had to attend a pizza party for our Youth Group. Now usually, at our meetings, it is just the older kids, but because it was a party all the little kids came along. It was alot of fun. Especially being able to play with Emily for quite awhile. She's almost a year old already, and very talented.
The other kids had alot of fun playing games.
Yesterday Adam left. While Mommy and matthew took hum to the airport it was up to me to drive Daddy to mass in Verona. We made it there and back safely, I didn't exceed the speed limit nor did I go a snail's pace.
Then we loaded our bikes up to go biking on the canal trails. Last time we did this I was quite small and biking on the gravel was very hard. This time it went better. We biked from Durhamville( parking at the turn off of 46 for peirmarini's) to Verona, Turning around at the van Lishouts farm. It took us about an hour each way.We stopped about halway to Verona to have lunch.
We saw alot of turtles as we biked, sunning themselves on some logs.
After we got home I went over to the neighbors to swim. I also got to watch peri use her pogo stick. I had to take these pictures.
On the way home I got a this picture.
After that we laid around and watched Star Wars and said the rosary, a good precurser to a busy day today.
I like to collect things! All kinds of things. Especially, rocks, feathers, leaves, bones, and dead animals. That sounds pretty bad, dead animals and bones but it not really. Now I don't go looking for the objects that make up my collection. Usually I just find them.
Yesterday while doing chores across the road in the barn, I spotted this butterfly. It was hanging from the ground wire for the electric fence. I think it got a little "shocked" because by the time I was with my chores it was lying dead on the ground. This one is a Eastern Tiger Swallowtail.
Some things are found for me by others.
This egg my mom found lying on the ground out in the hot sun. I cleaned it out and washed it, so it wouldn't smell like rotten eggs.
This piece of Fulgamite came of a large piece that my neighbor found while out working on a downed power line. Fulgamite is sand turned to glass by lightning.
The Cicada skin we found in the garden, mommy watched while the cicada crawled out of it.
This bone and shell I found in our creek, I have know idea what the bone is from.
This piece of fur I found lying on the ground out by the pine trees, near the pond. I still don't know how I found it out there, but I did.
Not Adam, but my new calf. In April we discovered that one of my heifers was pregnant. Since then I have been waiting for her to freshen. I had no idea how long it would take. I had to learn to be patience. Well sunday daddy went to check the cows after church and when he came back he told me that she had had here calf but that he couldn't find it. Well I took Lupus, the dog, out to the corner of the field where she had had the calf and she started following the calf's trail till she found him. It is and instinct for the mother cow to hide their calves right after their born to keep predators away. The calf is very beautiful, but sadly he is a he. He is not worth much, especially since he is a cross between a holstein and jersey. I don't know what I am going to do with him yet. I have to think for a while. Well he is here.

Julianna climbing Bald Mountain for the first time.
Ryan climbing Bald Mountain for the first time in his memory.
Julianna trying to carry Ryan's ruck sack, which ways about as much as she did.
Matthew posing on the Rock.
Ian and Jonathon standing viewing the forest below them.
Julianna and Jonathon's parents trying to topple the rock of the side of the mountain.
My Family, minus two.
Sunday we took our first trip of the year up the mountain. Ryan and Ian came with us along with our friends the Pettis. It took us about 2 hrs. to climb the mountain. Up and down. Of course we had the usual family picture at the large rock at the top. After we went down we drove the short distance to Nick's lake where we spent the afternoon swimming, kayacking and feasting. We had three one person kayaks and a two person. My favorite is our blue pelican. I took it out to twice to the big rock that sits about half to three-quarters of a mile out in the lake. The second time I had Julianna siiting in front of me. It was difficult to paddle with her there but we managed to do it without any spills. Fun was had by all. We left to go home about five-thirty when it started to thunder and rain.
Sorry! I like Cows and Organs, None of this items are mine, but I wouldn't mind if they were. The cow is a neighbor on the other side of the block. She looks mean with those horns. The two pictures of the Organs were sent to me from my organ teachers. Arn't they so cool. I wish I had a chance to play them.
This past weekend as been very busy. So busy that I took a lot of pictures but am just getting to posting them.
First there was Seasuical. I spent most of my time last week at school. With drama practice 2- whenever, we were very busy. Over all the play went well. There were things that I didn't like, casting, costumes, choreography, etc. It was lots of fun but I am glad it is over. Every night we sold out, plus some, the last two nights stage crew had to sit on the floor, and other people had to sit on pieces of set in the back. After each performance there was a cast party. I went to the first one at Denny's. We were all hyped up on adrenaline and excitement. Here are some of my friends. As you can see some didn't even take their hair down after the play.
Alanna (Cindy-Lou Who), and Gretchen (Mo Zoff Who).
Miss Vicky Budha, Director.
Melissa, Maria, and Brianna, (Bird Girls)
Robert (Grinch) and Mark (Mr. Lou Who)
Zombie Brianna.
I think this a is a really cool picture, her makeup makes her eyes look huge.
I will post more pictures from the play later.
While I was so busy with the play we still found time for a short 4 mile bike ride sunday. This was our first one as a family. It was a lot of fun.
Here we all are geared up to go.
Then Monday was Memorial day, besides planting flowers, and eating a very delicious meal, we biked up to see the parade. Up in town we spotted the little girl I used to babysit and her family. She really enjoyed the parade, while though her baby sister slept through it.
Elisabeth wouldn't let me take her picture until her "Matt" got there, and then I still had to tickle her leg so that she would look at me. I had no problems with her sister Rebecca.
